Humanscale Unveils Meeting Collection for Agile Hybrid Workplaces

Leading US brand Humanscale has introduced its innovative Meeting Collection, tailored to meet the evolving demands of agile hybrid workplaces. In response to the transformation of office life during the pandemic era, Humanscale recognizes the significance of hybrid work models. This collection emphasizes “commute-worthy design” to entice individuals back to the office.

A Seamless Blend of Design and Functionality

The Meeting Collection comprises chairs specially designed to support agile workstyles. These chairs encourage collaborative work with their upright seating positions and boast complementary aesthetics, ensuring they seamlessly fit into various office spaces. Notably, they feature automatic personalization, adapting to each user and conforming to their body’s contours.

A Legacy of Wellbeing and Connectivity

With a proud 40-year history, Humanscale has consistently prioritized user wellbeing. Their timeless yet forward-looking designs align perfectly with the diverse requirements of today’s modern offices. Founder and CEO Bob King emphasizes their commitment, stating, “Our mission to promote wellness and connectivity has never been more crucial, particularly in this post-pandemic era.”

Elevating the Collection with Kvadrat Collaboration

To rejuvenate the Meeting Collection, Humanscale partnered with Danish textile brand Kvadrat, offering an array of graded-in fabrics with captivating textures and colors. Options include Kvadrat’s Vanir felted woollen textile, developed in collaboration with fashion designer Raf Simons, and Reflect, a natural-looking recycled polyester created with designer Patricia Urquiola.

Sustainability at the Core

The Meeting Collection includes Todd Bracher’s recent Path design, celebrated as “the most sustainable task chair ever made.” Each chair incorporates nearly 10 kilograms of recycled materials. Bracher’s Trea Lite, a compact task chair, and Summa, a more executive-style chair, also grace the collection.

Additionally, two classic Niels Diffrient designs, the iconic Freedom chair, and the Smart conference chair, offer support tailored to individual lumbar needs.

Designed for Effortless Functionality

Humanscale underscores “seamless functionality” in the Meeting Collection, ensuring an effortless user experience. These versatile chairs are suitable for the office, home, or “third places” like co-working hubs.

Founded in 1983, Humanscale is dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technology in its functional and minimalist workplace designs, catering to users in every posture.

A Commitment to Sustainability

Sustainability is integral to Humanscale’s design philosophy. The company uses recyclable materials, streamlines design to minimize parts and actively reduces the environmental impact of its supply chain, manufacturing facilities, and showrooms.
