Recent UFO sightings in Teesside and North Yorkshire have piqued public curiosity, prompting NASA to delve into the unexplained phenomenon. The space agency’s report sheds light on nearly 1,000 unidentified objects spotted in the UK skies over the past two-and-a-half years.
NASA’s Investigation
NASA, renowned for its space exploration endeavours, has undertaken a comprehensive study of these Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs). Bill Nelson, NASA’s administrator, asserted, “The NASA independent study team did not find any evidence that UAPs have an extraterrestrial origin. But we don’t know what they are.” As a response, NASA has appointed a Director of UAP Research to spearhead further investigations and develop a strategic vision for UAP research.
Unusual Sightings
In the Teesside region, eyewitnesses reported a red fireball object suspended in the sky, moving gradually over the North Sea near Redcar in October 2021. Meanwhile, residents in Hartlepool described an enigmatic circular black UFO, radiant as if reflecting sunlight. In January, three bright crafts were witnessed circling one another, and a rocket-like object was sighted in November of the previous year.
